As so many of us know, breastfeeding doesn't always come easily and naturally. It didn't for me in the beginning. Many times, support is really all you need, but there are times where "gadgets" are helpful. In our time breastfeeding, I've discovered some truly phenomenal products that make lactating life much easier. This list goes beyond the "gimme" items like a great breast pump. These are items that many new breastfeeding moms might overlook, but they make all the difference!

Lil'Buds Breast Comfort PacksI was never more happy that a company sent me a gift to try than I was when my son was in the hospital!These were a must have during our time in the hospital and early days at home! Because my son couldn't latch until his ties were corrected, I was pumping exclusively. Unfortunately, pumping isn't nearly as effective as babies are at transferring milk. I found that by adding the warm Lil'Buds to my breasts before pumping, my output was greatly increased per session!These are also great if you're dealing with clogged ducts! 
Undercover Mama TanksPersonally, I'm the type of breastfeeder that will feed my son anywhere, anytime without a cover. But there's one thing I'd prefer to keep covered and that's my postpartum playdough belly. Silicone Breast PumpIn the early days, this was a great tool to catch passive milk while feeding. Not only does it collect passive milk, but it can help relieve engorgement. It doesn't overstimulate, so it won't boost milk production.
