Pies & Lemonade | A Wedding Shower
Almost a year ago exactly, John and I were thrown the most beautiful wedding shower! I don't think I've had a chance to share some of the photos on the blog, so I thought today would be the perfect day. 
All of our sisters helped make this day a possibility, and they really out did themselves. John and I love the Spring time, and we were so excited to be surrounded by great weather in the month leading up to our wedding. Our sisters came up with the perfect theme for a Spring wedding shower in Texas--Pies & Lemonade! 
The main table was garnished with various pies: lemon, pecan, apple, coconut creme, buttermilk, and chocolate! Sprinkled in between were my wedding flowers, hydrangeas, and beautiful vintage decor. And just in case there wasn't enough pie to fit our fancy, peanut brittle and oatmeal raisin cookies adorned the empty spaces. To drink there was ice cold beer, water--and of course--lemonade! 
The outdoors were just as festive with ladder golf and the beautiful Texas Springtime... and of course, the icing on the cake for any wedding shower is the blushing bride and groom! 
I am so thankful for all of the wonderful people in our life that helped make our wedding-time so special. I will absolutely always remember our wedding shower... and I will always have a fondness for Spring time in Texas, home made pie, and lemonade.
